Management Team
Duncan holds a degree in electronic engineering and computer science from Aston University. He has been with Optimal since 1994. Originally part of the software development team, his career has evolved with the business, from its early days of providing telecommunications products, communications services and consultancy, to its position now as a leading provider of web based energy and environmental monitoring services.
Duncan has developed a variety of technologies from embedded control and monitoring products, to bleeding edge voice systems. Currently he is leading Optimal’s initiatives in building systems based on the latest web technologies (LAMP, AJAX, JavaScript etc) to address users growing energy awareness and management needs.
He enjoys cars and music and is an avid gig goer.
